Mom, I know our relationship was far from conventional and there were ups and downs along the way but you were still my mom and the gap you have left, can never be filled. Theres not much I wouldn’t give to hear you call me chicken again, or see your stupidly long text messages appear on my phone or just to talk to you one more time. It makes me sad to think of all the things you will miss and the times we won’t get to see each other but it brings me comfort to know that you’re not in pain any more and I hope that you have finally found your peace. I won’t ever forget the pain I felt when you left but I hope you know I was there with you until the very end and I wouldn’t change that. Rest easy mom and I’m sure one day we will meet again. I love you, I miss you and I’ll never forget you. Sam xx
